Hello, I'm Josh wolff.

We all love a good story, especially our own. Why then, do we let our pens lay dry next to empty notebooks?

The world deserves our sequels.  We seldom take time to share what we've accomplished, seen, and dreamed with the world. This must change for all of us, and certainly had to change for me.

In the summer of 2015, I left New York City, my friends at Squarespace, and the abundant comforts of a stable life to travel the Southeast quarter of the world.

If I couldn't find my new story, it would find me.

I listened to surreal birdsong, hiking through New Zealand's archaic forests. Sampled every bit of Malaysia's true melting pot of foods and people. Became quite sick and skipped Myanmar. Celebrated Christmas with Thai dinner, followed by fireworks over "The Final Countdown". Sipped smoothies and got a manicure through a planned power outage in Cambodia. Held hands over rocks, giggling with our Hmong guide through Vietnam's foggy rice terraces.

They were right: it changes you. Inspiration is all around, but it's up to us to pull it from the air and create something beautiful.

So here I am.

MY vision

When traveling, I'm always enamored with the entrepreneurial spirit of our various hosts and favorite haunts.

Full beds, stomachs, and hearts determined their quality of life, not full pocketbooks. Making ends meet and giving—not selling—their soul while doing it.

Enriching the lives of others through meaningful work is paramount in our personal and professional lives. Whether a side project, a new business endeavor, or simply showing the world a new version of yourself, the ideas we kick around deserve new legs.

My vision?

To be the difference maker for yourself or your business.

I've pledged myself to help give the upper hand to individuals and young professionals looking to begin a new career or personal endeavor. To ensure artists and musicians can focus on creating, instead of swimming against a tide of rapidly-changing technologies to share their life's work. I'm dreaming of solutions for micro and small businesses, the new "mom and pop" stores, which deserve an appropriate storefront online to serve a new era of digital customers.

MY Passion

It's my goal to live a full life. Full of creative pursuits, of travel, and of the outdoors.

If I had my way, I'd make my living shooting photos and writing, hopping around the globe for a few months here and there. It's a common dream—one I'm thankful to already have lived. The bug is real.

Colorado, though, is America's great paradise. I'm fortunate to call it home. Aside from its obvious natural beauty, life here is easy and Boulder an inspiring city. If I'm not in the mountains, I'm riding Boulder's paths to the next coffee date, or to get fresh ingredients for legendary home-cooked dinners.

I've found a return to the passions I spent time honing as a child.

I've always made music, and am finally reunited with the entirety of my equipment after twenty years of collecting it. My high school songwriting partner, Mike, lives close by.

Through photography, I'm able to enjoy and share the world as my muse. It combines my love of nature with encouragement for others to see it for themselves.

Design allows me this platform to share myself and my story with the world. It also allows me to give to my community, by telling yours.

2016

Another amazing, transitional year started me in Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam, before returning to the States in February.

A long, slow goodbye to New York City saw me off to Boulder, Colorado to rest and work on projects like the site and story you're reading now. I spent the summer leaping from peak to peak in the Colorado Rockies, traversing the vast redness that is Southern Utah, and seeing my college roommate tie the knot on Victoria, B.C.'s Hornby Island.

After a restful summer, if you'd consider the above restful, I'm putting my full energy back into my professional life, preparing for a year of entrepreneurial bliss in 2017.

2015

The start of the year brought a close to major goals I'd had for our team and its future. After a getaway through Italy, Slovenia, and Croatia, I decided to begin my professional life anew and created my own brand agency.

I'd worked hard since I was 14, so I took the summer to rest, learn programming, and enjoy NYC's museums. If there was a perfect time to explore, it was then, so why not the world?

My partner and I departed in October for some serious travel. Beginning with New Zealand's entirety, we moved to Australia's Gold Coast and onto welcoming Malaysia. We hopped around Thailand and enjoyed Christmas and New Year's Eve in Chiang Mai.

2014

A year of increasing professional intensity was punctuated by moments of the best Europe has to offer.

We landed in the midst of Norway's 200th year as a nation, dazed but enjoying the revelry. Our tour brought us through the fjords near Bergen, to Copenhagen and Denmark's palatial countryside, and finally to überhip and familiar Berlin.

Work brought me to Dublin, Ireland often, and we celebrated Squarespace's first year in Dublin in Christ Church Cathedral's crypt.
